Brand new DTXPRESS website

Re: [DTXpress] Brand new DTXPRESS website

Thanks, but after visiting your site and being deluged
with several pop-ups, I think I will keep using this
DTXpress Yahoo group, instead of a commercial forum.

yeah- my pop-up-stopper went nuts. Prices aren't that great near as I can tell. Maybe if the forum gets active there will be some value.

Man I was all excited to check out the prices, then a mammoth pop up
ad covered up all the products! Only 8 vistors, must have been all
of us!

I don't think you have enough pop-ups on it yet. Add a few more.

I visited your site and it looks pretty neat, however, the pop-ups and
pop-unders make the site much less attractive, bordering on unusable. On
the other hand, your site design is cool and the content seems nice.

Please contact me off-list to discuss hosting options w/TxIS.COM. Since I
own it (TxIS is an Austin, Texas Based ISP that I first put online back
in 1996), I think we might be able to find a way to host your site
without subjecting your visitors to pop-up hell. :)

Sarcasm aside, I have found that if you do all your regular surfing with
Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org), you do not have to deal with
popups/pop-unders. The download is free, the program is free, and all you
have to do is make the following change to the preferences to have
Mozilla NEVER open an un-solicited (look at the attached picture).

There are far more advertisements on this forum. I am planning on
moving the website from there eventually. It is on a free webhosting
service right now. Was trying to make a more user friendly forum.
Other than the message board here...the rest of this site forum seems
like a waste of bandwidth. I appreciate your input. Thanks for
checking out the site.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
