I've been playing drums for 30+ and have had only three acoustic kits
during that entire time. The first real set I had for 17 years and
didn't change it much except for the cymbals. The second kit I had
for 12 years and I swapped out some hardware. My current kit I've had
for two years and haven't touched a thing.

However, I got my DTX 13 months ago today. In that time I've switched
out all the drum pads for Pintech ConcertCast pads, I've switched out
the cymbals for Zenbals, switched out the rack for a Gibraltar Road
Series type rack, added a Yamaha Bar pad, a Pintech Dingbat, a second
DTX module, a second bass pedal with a Pintech Ergokick, and a mixer.

Does it ever end?

Walt and Stephen,

Stephen's wife is absolutely right, but she's obviously not a
drummer, electronic or acoustic. By the law of the drumming jungle,
Stephen is nowhere near his quota.

Ed, you're right!
There are those Mackie 450's I've been looking at...........
