Hey! When I record some drumparts and after that record some new drumparts with another set in the overwrite modus then the old parts change sounds too. Is it possible to add for example a Bongo without changing the hole set to latin? Thanks for all answers Daniel

Hello Daniel,
I had the same problem as you (msg no 4984), and Im afraid I
drew a blank on the message board. I can only assume that it isnt
possible. In the end I had to record two parts on two seperate song
tracks, and my friend assures me that he can record them both as long
as the brain has a midi start stop facility.2003-07-08 by Vernon Graner
Let me see if I understand the problem: --you set the module to a kit --you record some tracks --you change kits and try to ADD new sounds to your existing tracks. --You loose the original sounds when you switch kits. If this is the case, what you would need to do is create a new kit that includes all the sounds you want to play. For example, lets say I want to lay a rythm track down (kick/snare/hat) and then add some latin percussion (congas, cowbell etc). I would create a new custom kit by copying the primary kit with the kick/snare/hat sound I liked, then I would assign some new sounds to the kit on different note numbers. Now, you would use the new note numbers to add the new sounds. I would usually do this with an external sequencer on a computer using MIDI, but you might be able to do this with the sequencer in the kit itself.
