Drew,

That's an elegant kit; I love the looks. The snare seems to have a 
non-standard way of mounting the trigger. The connection of the kick 
pad to the rack is novel as well. Do you find it at all limiting so 
far as position is concerned, or is the added stability an 
unconditional success?

Hi Ed, The snare mounts direct to the left outrigger by means of a 
standard 'Pearl-type' gauge length of S/steel tube and Gibralter 
style clamp.  I don't find it a problem, you could if you want cradle 
the pad in a conventional snare stand (but the 'real estate' you 
would lose negates the benfit of the drum rack). As you say the whole 
kit-rig is very stable and 'cosy' to sit behind, nothing is to far 
away !
