DTX Brain Wiped! Help!

DTX Brain Wiped! Help!

2003-10-14 by jameskling

Hi All,
I just mailed my DTXpress II kit overseas from Asia to US.
After setting it up, the brain appears to be wiped.
When I turn it on, I get a clear screen with the "song" and "voice"
lights lit up. Pressing any of the buttons does not do anything.
Pressing "Page Up" and "Page Down" while I turn it on, does not reset
it as the manual describes. Any suggestions on how to reset it or how
to reload the info or who I need to talk to at Yamaha?
-JIM.

Jim solved his problem by setting the voltage correctly. I posted his
message, and a report of his solution, because it may come in handy
as one of those easily overlooked troubleshooting steps.
