I have finally posted an 'official' BandHole tune in the MP3 folder in the Files section. This is from our practice last night, and was the only song small enough to be uploaded to this server. It was our first tune of the evening, a warm up song if you will. Keep in mind that my band BandHole is an improv band. We jam on general ideas, but every song we play is a little different. It's a cool concept, but many of you may not appreciate the humor of it all. heh. This was recorded straight to MiniDisc to iTunes to you. No mucking around with any fancy audio apps or anything. If you like anything you hear, please let me know. I have gigs of this stuff and we're just now getting to the point where we're allowing 'outsiders' to hear what the BandHole is all about. Most people probably aren't interested in improv dirt rock, but it's hilarious to us. ;) In case you are interested, here's a short breakdown of the equipment we used and how we recorded it: Instruments: DTXPRESS II Fender Strat Guitar Fender Squire Bass Various misc. percussion (congas, cowbell, etc) Recording Equipment Matrix: Guitar > POD stereo out > mixer Bass > crappy practice bass amp mono out > mixer DTXPRESSII stereo out > mixer Vox > 3 mics pre > mixer Congas > 1 mic pre > mixer and then: mixer > Sony receiver (this acts as our PA) > MiniDisc > Sound Studio > iTunes (on Apple 12" PowerBook)
