Johnson Amplification

Has anyone used the Johnson JA150K keyboard amp? 100 watts power and
has a 12" woofer and a 5" horn w/ piezo. Its only $195.00 and I have
seen very good keyboardist reviews and some very good bass/guitar
reviews.

Check it out here:

Zack,

I don't know anything about it, but I must say that BanjoBoy's four
out of five star review at Music 123 is very forgiving in light of
the fact that the amp "sometimes randomly shuts off." I don't know
about anyone else, but I get a little scared about obscure products
with bargain-basement price tags. Also, if you buy it, when someone
asks, "How's your Johnson," you might have to think twice before
answering.

HAHA. Good one. Yeah, that was the only thing. I am still going with
the Behringer b/c of the inputs and the 3 speakers. Was just a little
curious b/c I know that Johnson amps from about 5 years ago were some
great ones, but that their reputation has gone down to amps that
aren't as good as they used to be.

....and then those with space limitations might ask "how big is
your Johnson?"

Yes, as the spam receptable on my Yahoo email account keeps reminding
me, Johnson amplification is what it's all about, totally, always.
