I have tried Hahnemuhle's japanese paper with the Tokinoko (sp?) profile, as well as a lighter weight sheet from Paper Connections Int'l, sized with rabbit glue, with the same profile. The Paper Connections sheet, there sheet no. M206 or M207, produced a really nice, soft image.
