Duane,

Thanks for the reply. I think you hit the mark. On this last refill I
noticed that I added more ink than usual to a couple of the carts. There is
no fill line on them so knowing where to stop is kind of just from
experience. I will certainly watch the fill levels in the future.

I did email MIS about this and while I'm generally very happy with their
products I can't say the same about their email support. The answer I got
back was pretty lame just telling me that there are two holes on the top of
the cart and to make sure to insert the plug into the fill hole and not to
cover the vent hole.

Thanks again.

Scott

If your cap station fits properly and you overfill the carts or fill them in
place and flood the capstation (ie:flood it like you would deliberately do
while puddle cleaning) you can inadvertently set up a siphon and empty the
carts into the sump.
Assuming that your carts are ok that would be my guess as to what happened.
Regards,
Duane

turned the printer on and did a nozzle check. Two channels were blank so I
ran a few cleaning cycles with no improvement. I pulled the two carts out
and they are empty! It looks like the ink ran out of the carts while it sat
idle for two weeks.
