Digital BW, The Print

I was spoiled with how easy it was to swap between colour and b/w inks in my
2200. Now I find myself wondering if it¹s at all realistic to do the same
with my 3800. It¹s not that I don¹t have a colour printer to use. Rather,
I¹m contemplating printing on aluminum and my wide format colour printer
does not have a straight through printing path. While the 3800 is designated
for b/w work (HP PK dilutions) I may need to load colour inks occasionally.

Does anyone care to venture how much ink I might loose in each swap and what
other issues I might face?
