Re: [Digital BW] 3800 Cartridge/Ink Swapping - crazy idea?

2011-04-28 by Marks

Terry,

I switch between b/w inkset and color inkset on my 3800. It takes 3
full power cleans to fully flush out the previous inkset. A full
power head clean consumes about 15m. total of ink. It will also fill
up your maintenance tank pretty quick. I also normally run b/w but
I occasionally need to do a color run of blank cd disks that utilizes
the straight thru path. Don't see any other issues doing this other
than the waste of ink.

Cheers,
Mark
