Well Folks, I don't need no stinking magazine to tell me what to do. I'm going to be 67 in May and have seen a lot of changes in the art world. They don't come easy. I saw the great cave paintings at Lascaux. Was that the end? I didn't own a computer until I was past 60. I owe a lot to you people because I am turning out some interesting prints because of you all. Why not have an inkjet or digital show and exclude the intractable fools. Every movement in the art or music field eventually had their own presentations. I realize the difficulty in the organization of these events but I believe the people will be there and buy. It will always be the art of communication not which brand of saxophone you use or the complete methodology to reach the end result. I owned an art gallery for about 5 years and nobody cared if the work was on masonite or sized canvas or burlap. It was the attachment emotionally to the work. Build it ( properly ) and they will come. I apologize for my angry self-indulgency. Screw the magazine. Have a nice day---Barry Schaffer-------I really dislike having to react to the pretentious media. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
