Re: [Digital BW] (Newbie question) - Using a 1270 with MIS VM cartridges

Is there really a big enough difference between the 1280 and 1270 to
justify the $125 difference in price? My understanding was that they
used identical inksets and similar printheads, so I was
thinking/hoping that the workflows and curves would be the same for both.

I'm really hoping to spend no more than $300 for a system if at all
possible, as I'm a student and moderately broke at the moment :)
(Though my hope is that if I can offer gorgeous B+W prints to my
admittedly small client-base I'll be able to pay for this machine
rather quickly)
