If he's an effective marketer, he charges what the market will bear in order to sell his prints. I suspect he would charge more for his inkjet prints if he thought he could get away with it in his market. It may very well be that charging any more for the inkjet prints would result in reduced or nonexistent sales. Until the demand for inkjet prints increases to a point where it equals or exceeds the demand for silver prints, inkjet prices will in all likelihood lag silver prices. Granted, there are factors other than demand that affect pricing, but it is a buyers' market and, with exceptions, buyers currently tend to place a higher value on silver prints.
