MIS has a CFS for the R3000, but they have carts with auto-reset chips also. The newer carts hold about 28-30ml, so the refill isn't a big deal. The only problem (read that frustration) I have with these carts is they will not reset until they are at 10% or less--but not 0%. I keep mine full and just do a reset when the cart thinks I need it. Epson does not show percentages in the monitor though. The WIC reset tool will do that part free. The MIS carts DO show up as genuine Epson, so that nag is gone. The only other option I would consider, if not a CFS, is the carts from Cone. However, they are about twice the price. The only difference I see is they have some tiny battery embedded and you reset them with a tweezers or paper clip. You can reset them any time. Nice touch but not worth the cost to me. Otherwise they are identical. Coming from an R2400, I bought the set of carts, but only the inks I needed. I print matte only so I just used the PK black I had hanging around. That was cheaper than buying a starter kit with syringes, etc. that were on hand from the 2400. Price wise, watch the Epson rebates. And, watch them closely. Sometimes they exempt certain retailers. Atlex always has good prices and ships quickly. They are included in the rebates usually. Seth
