Hi I had the same problem the first time I refilled my 1430; I stopped the printer, started it, waited to see what light was getting "on". Started the printer, push lightly on the "Ink replacement" button, removed and replaced the culprit. As the printer did his normal routine, another light went "on". I redid the same procedures three or four times. Never had a problem since then. Hope this helps. I'm running MIS cartridges (EB6). --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "rfsteckmeyer" <steckmeyer@...> wrote: > > I'm running a 1430, windows 7, Photoshop CS5, and MIS E4+ ink set. The printer indicated that it needed ink in four positions all at once; Y, B, LC, LM. I parked the carriage, filled each to the top, bled the bottom, reinstalled and it now says that all four are still empty and of course it will not print. > > As you would expect the folks at Inksupply / MIS are unavailable at this time.
