Re: [Digital BW] 4 Steadman re: papers

Hi Jerry,

The swatch I got of the Hahnemuhle only says 230. Like you I was
relying on the numbers to indicate a heavy paper but apparently a
person can't go by that. I would like a heavy paper about 250-300gsm,
similar to Torchon, with a texture that won't flake. You have seen
the images on my site that I want to do as Duotones and my digital
work as watercolors and acrylic paints. Some of these I will be using
canvas but not all. As I am new to printing I really appreciate the
help you have given me as well as others. Relying on your experience
and others has helped me make fewer mistakes as well as costly
mistakes. I know most of the list members aren't interested in
duotones but if they could recommend some papers they really like and
why I'm sure they will most likely work with my duotones. Thank you
again.

Best regards,

Tim
