Robert, If you are using Photoshop in Classic assign no more than 299 Megs - or it will crash or slow down a lot. One way to make life easier is have two copies of Photoshop - one for launching in OS 9 with as much memory as you would like and another with 299 megs of memory assigned to it for Classic. Wish Classic supported SCSI/Twain as my Howtek can only run in OS 9. Wish Vuescan supported Howtek - that's not a joke either :-0 Have not heard much about plug-ins - I think Silverfast is coming up to speed. Best, John V.
