I wonder if changing the order of your startup controls and scanners would
make adifference. If you get photoshop to load first....maybe.
Have you checked the adobe forums?
I admire your bravery...I'm too chicken to try it!

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
