one of the things about digicams is that you BURN through the images I have 2x256 Mb cards for my Nikon E5000 and I regularly shoot both of 'em full in a couple of hours. That's about 250-300 exposures at fine quality, the equivalent of say 7-10 rolls of 35mm film. Since I never ever come home having exposed less than 6 rolls, and regularly expose 10- 20, you can see the problem. moreover I *never* delete images in-camera. you just can't tell enough. they all get dumped onto the HD, then burned to CD, without editing.
