Thanks for the reply,
I just ordered some VM cartridges from MIS and will be trying them 
out shortly.  I figured I'd need the cleaning cartridge to get the 
color epson ink out, but the lady at MIS said a few cleaning cycles 
will do just that.  

I also saw that MIS just released a new chip resetter for the 1270 
carts.  http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/qb7.html 
This should solve the reset problem for people running Win 2k or XP, 
and also enable refilling (I think)?

By (Fully charged CFS) do you mean one with a "read only" chip that 
always looks full and needs no resetting?  If its cheaper than the 
other ones offered (Niagra) that would be worth waiting for.
