Nij- Thank you for the fine post. I posted a message a couple of days ago with a possible solution and I didn't credit you as the source from you email to me because I didn't know if that would embarrass you as a Piezo reseller. Since you have posted, it obviously doesn't and I complement you for taking the effort to try to help us extend the usefulness of our Piezo software. I do have two questions on your website posting. You state that you used the 1290 driver and renamed it from 1270 to 1290. This confuses me, if you install the 1290/80 driver, it will read "Epson Stylus Photo 1280" but have a problem finding the printer. I simply renamed he existing 1270 driver and that seems to work for a decent print but is all over the page on positioning...any thoughts on that? Secondly, you mention that you realigned for the Photo Rag paper. I'm wondering how important you think this is and if you are able to detect a misallignment with the Epson software before you align. This is pretty expensive if you bounce back and forth from paper to paper since you need a fresh sheet of the "new" paper to do the alignment check, don't you?
