Guys,

I was told by a gallery tech at an art museum that they only use quality
plex for everything. I don't know if they re-glaze their older work or not.
They have controlled humidity and filtration.  I prefer glass in my house
where art doesn't get moved a lot. I have a painting with the coated glass
(it came that way) and it works very well. If you have an important piece
that can't be lit properly where you want to hang it the money is well spent.
My pet peeve is non-glare semi-frosted) glass. Reflections are better than
killing a picture with that junk.
