Digital BW, The Print

I've been gradually making the switch from analog to digital 
printing, and have had fine results with Piezo software and Cone 
inks -- except for the endless clogging and the price.

So I'm testing MIS FS inks ("refilled" virgin carts) with my 1160.  I 
get good tonal results using the Woolf workflow, but the dots are too 
visible in the high end.

Using the piezo software I get blotched, muddy prints (these are 
files that printed beautifully with Cone inks). Fiddling with gamma 
doesn't help.

Any suggestions appreciated!
