Well, I don't want to do Colorbyte's business for them...but I'll try to
answer as best as I can.

I don't know whether they have demo CD's...I own a copy.  There is now both
mac and pc imageprint 4 for 1270/1280/1290 and 7000...they may support other
prints...but this is what I'm using.  At present (today) the desktop/7000
version only works with MIS FS inks and Epson OEM color inks.  They are
currently profiling MIS FS-N and Piezotone inks.  I know that they plan to
support the VM inkset but this isn't ready yet (at least for the mac version
that I'm using...don't know about the windows version).

Colorbyte is a very small operation that works hard...tech support has been
excellent.  The product is still developing but is promising.  I'm
particularly interested in using it with the piezotones which I'm using in
my 7000...when I have the profiles I will report.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
