JimD: The PiezoBW driver is excellent because it has so many paper profiles -- this alone may be worth the cost. I did note yet another post on the Yahoo Piezography3000 forum today about micro-banding with the 1160. This has been a problem in the past (many threads and 100s of posts over the last couple of years). You might want to check it out first. It appears that this is at least partially a driver problem, not just a paper feed/dirty printhead problem with the 1160.
