Epson pays for their printer/ink R&D and subsidizes the cost of their
printers with their "outrageous" consumable pricing (actually EAM $$$ seems
pretty unoutrageous to me!).  If they charged you $36 a pint for ink...you
wouldn't have a printer to use in 3 years.
