That's interesting...and good to hear! If you have that much latitude, I wonder why, given your experience with the 1280, I and so many others have had such problems with the Piezo Color inks in the 1280? I could never get a clear indication of which color patches to select when I ran the printhead alignment as long as the Piezo Color inks were being used. I wonder if our two printers happen to be from opposite ends of the quality control spectrum, or if something else in its design explains this seeming paradox. Or is it possibly just a difference in the characteristics of the two inksets? Not a technician by any means...
