Although somewhat off-topic, I feel this is still within the focus of this group: I am looking for an archival color ink process that will match my MIS Quadtone exhibition prints. I enjoy the velvet, gravure quality of the MIS Quadtones with EAM paper and need to find a color process which will have the same 'look'. Black plays more than a large part in my images, so the process would have to deal with this extra well. The color stability would also have to reach well into the 70-100 year range. I have been looking at the new 2200 printer as well as the MIS pigment-based color inks, but have no opportunity to see prints from either first-hand, so I am relying on the experiences of this group. I know that several of you are exhibiting artists, like myself, and have probably already researched this question for me. Best regards, Jamie. jamie drouin : photographs http://www.jamiedrouin.com
