John, You asked: >for an image destined to be output via the epson driver and Roark curves, >what grayscale profile should I use? a custom dot gain curve like I would >with piezo? My PC Color Settings (Edit, Color Settings) are at "Photoshop 5 Default Spaces." This top line setting includes Gray Gamma 2.2. >also, in the epson print dialog what settings should I enter for source >space etc (I have PCM turned off)? In the first printer dialogue box I have the "Print Space" "Profile" set at "Same as Source." Jerry Olson, who uses a Mac, has a spot for a media setting in the dialogue boxes of his 1280, as I understand it, and has it set to gamma 1.8. The 1280 curves have been written based on Jerry's settings. I don't know if we have a PC v. Mac difference here. Paul
