What you need to do is use the NEW extended RGB target for ProfilerMaker instead of the 2.88 target and you'll see excellent profile quality and very, very good neutral gray balance. If you do not have this target, email me off list and I'll send it. I'm not sure it will work with the ColorMouse however. You'll need an EyeOne, Spectroscan or DTP- 41 as there are 900 patches to measure. The Gray Balancer isn't going to help with soft proofing images in Photoshop (in fact it will make it worse as you've altered the behavior of the printer and thus your profiles are now hosed). You don't need a 9600 if you're printing 11x14's for your portfolio.
