Stephen,
I remember going to a lot of their presentations and am in total agreement with you. I , too hope they can pull themselves out of their problems and again become a leader in instant imaging. It would be to the benefit of all.

I know that George was being funny about Polaroid's service and fear of
bankruptcy, but I have to say that Polaroid has been very good to me for
many years - way before their current financial problems.  They are one of
the very few companies that still had some kind of decent artist support
program through good times and bad; they still have been incredibly helpful
and positive when it comes to listening to artists, encouraging them to
experiment with Polaroid materials, maintaining a collection and producing
books of work done with Polaroid stuff, and so on.

Sure they have made some odd products here and there, but I, for one, really
hope that they survive and flourish.
