Press the yellow button, this should bring the heads to the left. Unplug
the printer. Squirt with a syringe, a mixture of ammonia/water, 1:9
directly into the open nipples of the printhead. Wipe it down, and do it
again. Wipe it down, clean the area with q timps, and replace the
cartridges. Do about 4 or 5 head cleanings. This SHOULD get you clear printheads.

To clean under the bottom of the printheads:

While the cartridges are all the way left, dip a paper towel into the
ammonia/water solution, or fantastik, or glass plus, etc. wring out.
fold over and over until you get a towel that is about 1 inch by 12
inches. Tuck it into the channel that the print heads run along. Drag
the heads back and forth by hand over the towel. Repeat with 2 or 3 more
paper towels. This will clean the bottom of the printheads. You'll still
have to run about 4 or 5 more headcleanings with the epson software to
get everything working normally again.
