Just to be absolutely clear, Kevin, these are CFS carts, as your subject line suggests, rather than CIS carts as mentioned below? "CIS" has become almost generic due to the success of NoMoreCarts.com's Continuous Ink Supply (CIS). But "CIS" is also still the name of the NoMoreCarts (NMC) product. I have two of these NMC CIS'es for the 1160 but don't remember retraction being mentioned in the documentation. And in any case, didn't get any, despite being "all thumbs", neither in the filling up stage nor after installing the carts in my 1160s. I'm not suggesting the CIS is better than the CFS, which I think Jim Hayes prefers after much more experience than I've had. And I suspect both the CIS and the CFS are better than the reverse-engineered, no-manufacturer-named "knock off" cis'es I think are being sold by retailers who don't have NoMoreCarts' permission to sell the real CIS.
