I do not know your shooting conditions or style. However, while having
a back-up identical body is nice in 22 years I've only needed to use
my back-up 3-4 times. The idea of a back-up to me is that it's a
light-weight camera that while not 100% of your main camera will still
allow you to shoot and complete a job with little problems. But in
reality, if you take good care of your primary camera in regards to
upkeep, cleaning, and the occasional but regular CLA, you'll hardly
ever really need it. Carrying a extra F4 or F100 seems a little much
to me. To me back-up includes the idea that it's there with you at the
bottom of the camera bag but hardly noticeable. I'd recommend a
lightweight FM2 or FE2 or even a real light FM10 (don't laugh,
supposedly Galen Rowell used to carry one on occasion for back-up).
And with the FM2 you'll have the added benefit that all shutter speeds
work without batteries as well. The FE/FM2 or FM10 are a small
fraction of the weight of an F4 or F100.
