Hello All, I have been using 35 mm color transparency (usually Fujichrome Velvia). I scan using an LS 2000, and convert to b/w using any number of options. I have, however, noted that my shadows are lacking in detail. I want to continue using color film, but would consider shooting negative film instead. Is there a recommended color negative film which will give me grain (or lack thereof) similar to Velvia? And is LS 2000 a good scanner for this application. I will consider upgrading my scanner, but not to anything more than $2000. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Best regards. Shilesh
