John, Thank you very much for sharing this information. Very disappointing to put it mildly. The Selenium PT out of the printer or unexposed to light is wonderful but this is a gross failure. Just when I finally find something I like... Sigh. The appearance of the MIS-FS print seems rather typical of the warming we see with the carbon pigment inks, particularly the FS and original Piezo inks. Hopefully the FS Neutral and Sepia-VM would have faired a bit better in this comparison. I also suspect that the failure is largely due to the poor black performance. How far up the scale does the Randall workflow use the black ink? The Piezo driver seems to keep the black below 80%. With your permission I would like to place both of these jpegs and your post in the Files section of the group's homepage. If you have scans of un-faded copies of the print that would be nice to add too.
