RE: [Digital BW] Re: CIS Carts REinstall

2002-09-19 by Murray Zaharia

I had the same problem on my 1160 a few months back. I tried everything
that you mentioned. I finally gave up thinking that I needed a head
replacement. I took it to a local Epson warranty repair shop and they
unclogged it. The tech showed me what they used. It is a janitorial
cleaning product called Speedball 2000. He had just soaked the pad and
let the head sit on it for 48 hours. After a few cleaning cycles it was
a perfect nozzle check.

This
resulted in nearly every nozzel being clogged, with cleaning cycles I

cleaning the tubbing and I bought new CIS carts, these are now
