I'm having a similar problem with my 3000. Very fine black lines going the width of the print. Sometimes they extend past the left or right margin of the actual image. Under a loupe they are fairly consistent dots, not smears. My issue is not specific to a certain scan and happens in Piezo or straight printing from PS7. I'm afraid it is the printhead or possibly a controller board.
