I've have a very similar problem with my 3000. Fine black or magenta
lines 1/2 inch wider on both sides than the printed area, parallel to
the printhead travel, unevenly spaced. This is from Pshop 6 with the
Epson driver and Epson inks. It only happens when printing at 1440
dpi however. Other settings (microweave Super, specifically) seem not
to affect this.
I'm printing from an older Mac with a G3 upgrade via a serial connection.
