[Digital BW] Re: CIS Carts REinstall

2002-10-02 by tjphotoct

Mark and Everyone,
About three months ago I tried using my 1160 after it had been
sitting almost a year without being turned on. I tried and tried to
get rid of a clog in the black tube and cart of my CIS. I contacted
Nomorecarts and they suggested several solutions and I read
everything Inkjetmall had on the subject. I tried the syringe with
Windex and Fantastic.
Finally in desperation I took the tubing off of the black cart and
ran a small wire into the tube and worked the plug of ink loose
and the ink started flowing again.
The 1160 works fine now and I won't let it go unused for that
length of time again.
