Frank, if you know your way around the printer, it's possible to turn the main wheel by hand (the big white plastic geared wheel to the left) while you hold a wet (lintless) paper towel against the little rubber wheels that press the paper down. As they turn they will unload ink on your towel. Plus take a look at the FAQ at the IJM site. Lots of details there too.
