the list says 2166 members x 20 images = 43320 images x 120k =   over
5 gigs! that will be quite a socialist experiment. so if just under
20% are interested, it will work!

but realistically, I imagine you could divide the space up pretty
nicely to accomodate many many images. and to make it truly for those
without access to their own or other sites, those of us with other
space, could show fewer images, but have links to our sites.

what sorts of altering do you imagine people needing to do beyond
uploading images and text.

I agree visual design should be of little importance compared to the
image, but if you really wanna keep the "what the hell!?" questions to
a minimum, you gotta start with well designed tools.

oh by the way, I finally got my 2000p running with mis fs-hex so much
of the talk can now be more than just edutainment!

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
