Steve, the reason you check the nozzles with OEM Epson carts is to eliminate variables - if you still can't get good nozzle checks with Epson carts, then you have a problem in your print head (which. you attack with various flushing/soaking strategies). If you get good nozzle checks with Epson carts, but the problem returns with your aftermarket inks, then you have a problem with the cart/ink-delivery system. You may need a new cart. Are you using CIS/CFS? You may have a partially obstructed tube.
