I'm currently installing a MIS CFS system in my 1280 for the first time. I just filled the carts using the vacumn pump. Somehow I must have gotten the black tube above the ink level while filling it because I ended up with mostly air in the feed line (the other are mostly ink). Can I just use the supplied bottom fill adapter and suck ink out of the bottle into the line and cart? If so, do I have to wait a few hours for the bubbles to go out of the ink in the cart before I install it? Is it better to do this before or after I install the cart in the printer? Any other thoughts? Bob Michaels
