Bob, Don't panic ---yet;-) Did the black cartridge fill with ink? If the answer to this is yes, I would not worry too much about the air in the feed line. Whne you install the cartridges in the printer, inks will begin to be sucked in, and the little bit of air in the feed line will end up on top of ink in the cartridge. This is no problem at all. If, however, little or no ink went in the cartridge, you may have to start the process over again (prefereably with a new empty black cartridge. Good luck.
