Digital BW, The Print

Hi -
 Thanks for all of the feedback you've been giving me.
 So here's the update:
 Took off the CFS (which introduced bubbles into the hoses - least 
of my problems right now) and put on Epson cartridges.
 So far the problem hasn't gone away. Nozzle tests are clean as a 
whistle, while test prints are banding. Am pretty sure driver/etc. 
is all up-to-date.
 Moved the printer to a sturdier table thinking table shake might 
have something to do with it but no effect.
 So.
 Should I get the head replaced?
 How much does this cost?
 I was going to send a Polaroid scanner in at one point, until the 
told me how much it cost to fix and it was more than half the price 
of a new one... So I'm a bit leery of sending in the printer...
