Re: [Digital BW] LCD vs CRT for a new monitor? -views sought

2003-01-30 by Robert Morrison

I have an apple 17 (same technology as the 23) and a lacie electron blue 22
right next to each other. I use the apple for email and the lcd for photo
work. No doubt the apple is a superior monitor for sharpness, brightness,
contrast, evenness...you name it...but it doesn't match my prints. I have
both optical and photocal with a spyder/LCD...simply can't get there. I'm
about to get one of the apple 23's, however to replace the lacie because it
is dying...my guess is that I'm going to have to buy an eyeone to go with
it. Anyone have any success with optical/photocal with the spyder on an
apple LCD?

Robert
