Re: [Digital BW] Anyone printing MIS FS-N with Piezo driver?

2003-02-15 by Barry Kelsall

I use FSN ink with piezo through one of my 1160s & it works great. I never
tried any other inkset so I can't make comparisons.

One thing to watch out for - unless you intend to do high volume printing,
it is best to stick with carts. The black ink contains a solvent that will
actually dry out inside the tubing of a CFS if allowed to sit unused. I have
replaced my K cart once already because of this condition. I have found that
using the system at least once a week will avoid any problems, but this
could be true for my area & your environment could be different.

good luck
