Jeff, I concur with Paul. You want to check out the printer as it was meant to run. Anything wrong and you can just take it back to where you bought it. The cartridges do seal and keep well. Hang on to them as them make excellent cleaning cartridges is you should get a bad clog. Not likely with the VM though.
